Fruity Oat Breakfast Bars

I have been thinking that with summer coming up I am wanting to have a variety of breakfast bars to grab and go.  If I want to work out in the garden or have the farmers market to attend to one morning, it would be great to grab a breakfast bar and go to work.  So my latest adventure was to check the internet for a fruity oat granola bar recipe and I came up with that has a lovely looking Fruity Oaty Soft Granola Bar Recipe.  There are several on Yummly which I can share at another time.  Here is the recipe for the Fruity Oaty Soft Granola Bars.

Press the mixture into a 9×9 pan.  If possible use a silicone baking pan because it will release the bars very nicely.  Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.  Let cook completely, pop out of the pan and cut into bars.  You might want to use a little spray on the pan too.  It does not call for it but I think it would be a good idea.

This recipe looks so easy and with that maybe even healthy.  I thought I would try the cashew butter or almond butter for a different taste.  Sorry for the cutting and pasting but it was late last night that I finally came up with an idea for a post today.  If you are interested, check out Tikkido because there are some fabulous ideas and recipes on that site.

Well, until tomorrow we might talk about gardening and some easy and simple tricks to getting your garden to grow.  In the mean time – Think spring and farmers markets.
