Speaking of hand made crafts.  Why not bring your Mother to the markets and let her pick her own.  Stone Medicine Jewelry will have beautiful necklaces and bracelets made from precious stones that help with healing.  Like if you have arthritis there is a stone for that. Kind of like there is an ap for that only stones work better than aps.

Other crafters will have handmade wooden items that could be of interest to your Mum and if you give her a card telling her she can pick her own gift at the market she will love the idea.

Flyers have been given out to various businesses in the area and you will be able to pick them up at the Spring Festival in Southport on May 9th.  In fact some of our vendors will be there so you might want to plan on stopping by.

It will be great to see how the market has grown over the years.  This is our 3rd year and each year we get bigger and better thanks to the neighborhood and our consumers.  On each market day there will be posting go out of all the items available at the market that day.  Picutres of all the goodies like breads and cupcakes will be served.

bread

Looking at this bread makes me hungry for some monkey bread.  I also will have other mouth watering breads that are just the right size for you to gobble up at one or  two dinners.  I like to eat the bread straight away so it doesn’t have a chance to get old and serve it with lots of butter you can get from another vendor is it Soooooo yummy.

Well, Until tomorrow when we will talk about planting some vegetables and the do’s and don’ts of growing a garden.  Think Farmers Market.
